Meet Amanda DeSimone:

Amanda is a compassionate and skilled counselor at Ministry Village. With four years of experience working primarily with women of all ages, Amanda brings a wealth of knowledge and care to every session.

Amanda holds an M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University and has training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Inference-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (I-CBT). EMDR is an evidence-based treatment for processing distressing or traumatic experiences. I-CBT is an evidence-based treatment for Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD). 

Amanda’s passion lies in helping women who are coping with anxiety, depression, life transitions, perinatal support, OCD, and trauma. It brings her deep joy to accompany her clients in building their resilience and confidence and tuning in to their own inner wisdom.

What Inspires Amanda:

For Amanda, the most rewarding part of being at Ministry Village is being part of a team invested in the pursuit of wholeness throughout the local community. There is a shared goal of partnering with other community-based services that support clients in mind, body, and spirit.

A Little More About Amanda:

Outside of work, Amanda loves spending time with her husband and their teenage son. She additionally enjoys singing in a choir, long walks at the park, and reading.
